Russia's KIMKAN Iron ore concentrator is located in the Russian Jewish Autonomous Oblast of Oblugansky City, raw ore processing scale of 10 million t/a, is Russia's largest iron ore concentrator in the Far East. The Mining and Metallurgical Group undertakes the sub-system debugging, no-load linkage debugging, heavy load linkage debugging and other debugging work of the concentrator.
This project is an overseas large-scale comprehensive new concentrator commissioning project, the technical data are mostly in Russian, the Russian owner and the general contractor of the project strict requirements, commissioning work is difficult. The project team of the Group completed the commissioning outline of the concentrator of nearly 200,000 words, which was revised after several rounds of negotiations and finally approved by the owner unit. The concentrator is large in scale and long in process. There are more than 1200 sets of main equipment in the whole plant. Each piece of equipment needs to be tested individually to ensure that it has good working condition. The reliability of the automatic control system is the key to the success of the debugging work. The debugging personnel will check the signals of the central control room and the field one by one with a rigorous and meticulous working attitude to ensure the smooth and stable process. After unremitting efforts, the project team has solved a number of design and equipment problems that affect the smooth flow of the whole process, and completed the system commissioning and commissioning in less than 4 months, achieving "zero accidents" in safety debugging and "zero" equipment losses.
The commissioning project of KIMKAN Concentrator is a successful practice of the Mining and Metallurgical Group's active practice of the national "Belt and Road" initiative. The completion of the commissioning of the ten-million-ton concentrator demonstrated the strength of the mining and metallurgical Group's complete sets of mining and whole process services, and further enhanced the brand image of the mining and Metallurgical Group.
