The package casting bucket teeth and casting process of an electric shovel include the sprue, wear-resistant alloy block, and tooth structure. The wear-resistant alloy block is pre-set at the tip of the casting mold, with its plane tightly against the mold and fixed with a core support. The distance between the two sides of the wear-resistant alloy block and the cavity is approximately 10-15mm each. After the mold is closed, the pouring position forms a 5-10 degree angle with the horizontal plane, with one side of the sprue higher than the other side in the width direction of the sand mold and the tip of the tooth higher than the other side in the length direction of the sand mold.
This process is simple, reliable in performance, low in production cost, and has a high service life. The cutting edge of the package casting wear-resistant alloy block tooth has good self-sharpening properties. Experimental results have shown that the overlay layer is less likely to peel off when loading harder materials, reducing the power consumption during the operation of the electric shovel.
Our company produces electric shovel bucket teeth ranging from 4 cubic meters to 35 cubic meters in size, using materials such as manganese steel and alloy steel. We can modify and optimize the design and material according to different ore properties and wear-prone areas. Our products have completely replaced those of other domestic manufacturers in Jiangxi Copper Group's mines and have been well received in the market. The 4 cubic meter bucket teeth used in the Jin Du Cheng Molybdenum Mine have a stable lifespan of 120,000 tons of ore extraction, far exceeding the 80,000 to 100,000 tons achieved by the customer's previous purchases from other domestic manufacturers. Furthermore, we can add trace chemical elements and use embedded alloy bars to enhance the strength of the bucket teeth based on customer requirements, achieving even better performance.
With the support of Jiangxi Copper Corporation, one of the Fortune Global 500 companies, we have access to a large internal mining area for testing new products. We also collaborate with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xi'an University of Technology, Jiangxi Copper Research Institute, and other research institutions for technical cooperation and new product development. In response to the industry's demands, we will strive to develop new products, explore new markets, and deliver value to our customers while serving the industry and contributing to its development and progress!"
